It was such a joy to photograph this gorgeous mummy-to-be at her stunning home in Balham, albeit on a scorching hot day!


Sophie wanted to capture natural images of her in the late stages of her pregnancy so that she had something to look back on in years to come to remember this very special time. People always say there is a 'pregnancy glow' and I think Sophie really epitomises that in these images - she looks so happy and proud and excited to meet her little one, and I'm so happy I was able to capture that for her.


Of course we just had to invite her fluffy friend in for a few photos - he is an absolute charmer, and so gentle with her bump, definitely going to be a protective pup once baby arrives!

I was initially hesitant to have a maternity shoot, yet Emily managed to make my bump the feature, whilst hiding any areas I didn't feel so great about.

I felt really comfortable and I think this comes across in the photos. They're really natural, filled with joy, smiles and fun.

I'll be putting them on my walls to remind me of an incredibly special time for me and my family!
